Chris’s statement from 2013 noted that high CO₂ can indicate pollutant build-up in poorly ventilated spaces—not that CO₂ is reliably correlated with all contaminants. Our 2025 piece clarifies that CO₂ is not a general indicator of IAQ, particularly where source-specific contaminants dominate.

Maarten, this framing is disingenuous. You're citing the same studies we already discussed on Twitter, ignoring that we directly addressed your comments there.
