I mean, nobody's really doing anything about it so I don't know about all that...

Blame her for running an abysmal and uninspiring campaign, moving to the right of Biden on nearly every issue. Nothing motivates Dems like campaigning with Liz Cheney!

What about Fanny?? Their first album came out in 1970.

That is what the insane ICE budget is for, to create his own personal paramilitary and use immigration as a guise for arresting his opposition.

Is there an idea/estimate who might benefit from these numbers?

It's so cringe to watch him puff his chest and posture like he actually gives a fuck. This is the same dude who jumped on the bandwagon just a week ago and said undocumented Californians shouldn't receive health insurance any more.

Talking loud and saying nothing.

I know it's anecdotal, but I am a grad student and have been *stunned* by how many of my classmates use ChatGPT to write their entire papers for them. Like, the entire paper with some small edits to make it less obvious. Teachers need a tool that can recognize AI, asap.

The solution was to, at the very least, acknowledge the atrocities in Gaza and propose conditioning aid to Israel based on their behavior. Conditioning aid was very popular.

She obviously would have been better than Trump, but it is a mistake not to examine why she lost to a fascist so we don't repeat our mistakes. A lot of us were screaming out loud that she was blowing it. It sucks to be told now by the same people who told us to shut up to "enjoy your autocracy".

Her campaign muffled Walz because they thought he was too progressive! They literally ran in nothing!? She offered no policy changes and not a word of criticism or effort to differentiate herself from Biden.
May 1, 2025 at 6:49 PM
I don't agree that she did an excellent job. I think she ran a terrible campaign, and ran far to the right of Biden. Examples: Her refusal to defend Gazans, spending her final week campaigning with Liz Cheney (!?), backing off Biden's proposed corporate tax rate...all baffling to me.

Does Kamala bear any responsibility for running a truly terrible campaign? It should not have been that hard for her to beat Trump.
May 1, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Hey remember when you led the charge for Dems to approve Rubio?
April 14, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Walz was not a "centrist, corporate" governor, he was actually very progressive. Unfortunately, Kamala's campaign muzzled him and told him to shut up about that stuff, so I think it is good he gets out and reclaims those principles.

I wonder if this opinion will impact the judges thinking about how he will rule for Eric Adams.

I'm more worried about them challenging the results if they lose and alleging fraud.

The law before their changes said the Governor would have to pick a replacement from a list of three options, provided by the outgoing senator's party. The new rule says there will be a special election now, so Dems actually have a better shot than before.
