Here are ome cool puzzle sets released to coincidence with TLWJP: I especially love this T.Rex piece as it lifts a scene straight out of the TLW novel.

Joe Tucciarone Appreciation Thread: This is where my nostalgia buttons get pushed the hardest as a book I had as kid was filled with his work and very much filled my young brain with imagination and awe!!

I'm more in the early 2000's kids category, but the feeling is mutual!!
90s kids are screaming with joy right now.

JP T.Rex Concept Art!! The first piece was done by paleoartist Mark Hallett (anyone familiar with him will instantly recognize this T.Rex as it's his usual style). The second was done by the main concept artist Crash Mcreery and aside from the upright neck, looks like a typical 90s era T.Rex.

Here's an obscure piece of art made for a Japanese edition of the JP novel!! This artwork was made by Noriyoshi Ohrai who was famous for making posters for Godzilla and Star Wars (the OT to be exact). I've always loved his work and this cover for the JP novel is no exception.

Robert Bakker Appreciation Thread: This might be news to some paleonerds but famed paleontologist Robert Bakker is quite the paleoartist and he often translated his and others theories into his artwork. This Deinonychus was inspired by his mentor John Ostrom who started the Dino Renaissance.

Stephen Czerkas Appreciation Thread: IMO, one of (if not the best) paleo sculptors!!

Some my favorite stills of "Bruce" the shark!! For only having about 4 to 5 mins of screentime, he sure made his mark on cinema.

Happy 50th Anniversary to Jaws!! Undeniably, the ultimate shark movie and for my money the best Spielberg film next to JP.

JP concept art featuring the T.Rex sleeping as Dr. Grant looks upon!! This was lifted from the OG novel as part of the famous river raft scene and was originally gonna be in the film but was not filmed (likely due to budget reasons). JW Rebirth appears to be bringing this abandoned scene back.

The man who pretty much set the standard for paleoart and just depictions of prehistoric life for many years

A little comparison of different versions of JP!! Thanks to 35mm scans of the first film becoming more common in recent years, it's interesting comparing how it looks compared to the official home video releases.

Rudolph Zallinger's "Age Of Reptiles" mural Appreciation Post!! One of the most iconic pieces of paleoart and for good reason.

The first DVD copies I had of JP, TLW, and JPIII!! As great as the Blu-ray and 4K versions are, I still hold a soft spot for these versions.

While many compare the JWR Rex to the Buck or Bull Rex from previous movies, I think a better comparison can made between this new Rex and the concept art of Rexy from the first film (the stripe pattern and even the shade of green are almost identical)
