A screenshot of a BBC article reading: Material left 'lying around' about Jenrick defection, claims Conservative source published at 11:43 Nick Eardley Political correspondent A Conservative source tells the BBC there was "plenty of evidence" Robert Jenrick was getting closer to Reform. The source says "material" had been left "lying around" which provided "irrefutable evidence" he was preparing to defect. The source says the defection was being planed "quite soon" and "in the most damaging way possible for the party". It's alleged Jenrick had dinner Farage last month - and his team had been speaking to "various people" about the possibility. Jenrick has not responded to requests for comments so far.

We don't talk nearly enough about how much of a quitter Nigel Farage is. The man has absolutely no staying power.
