I don't really know what to make of it though. I'd need to read the rest of whatever context there might be. On the face of it, it's pretty puzzling.

Plus they're just tracking "major faiths". There's plenty of religious thinking still out there. The narrative that "people don't go to church because rationalism" is a false equivalence.
