At the Special Session of the ASP, Mexico delivered a joint statement condemning the sanctions against ICC judges signed by 48 member states. The statement has some less surprising signatory absences (Italy, Japan ), and some slightly more surprising ones (UK, Canada) #ICC

Curiosity side note: Given Trumps attacks and hostilities against the ICC, I wonder if he is aware that the US has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Joint investigation Team (JiT) into alleged core international crimes committed in Ukraine which also includes the participation of the ICC.

Really excited yesterday to see our concept, Cafe Moot, which I created and co-developed with brilliant colleague Liz Conaghan having its 1st event. Student advocacy in a fictional café (but the pizza was real!)

Really interesting piece on storytelling and research 👇. In relation to research on law, it has both significant potential but also scope for big resistance in the scholarship ('Cute' idea, BUT, where is the law?).
