broadly speaking they're overused. Relative labels like "todays high schoolers/college students/people joining the labor force" are generally more useful linguistically and also usually what people mean. and if you want a label, make one that's meaningful to your thesis.

Is it a great generational label? Is it flexible and meaningful across many contexts? Not really. Its better then every single non boomer generational label. Lazy hack mother fuckers.
Personally, I think "post gwot" generation is huge and could be meaningful
