I was also talking about stories! The three-year ordeal to find an agent was rough... but back in the day, I would be agonizing about stories on an editor's desk, too. But I am delighted that you have embraced the bliss of indeterminacy! I will try to follow your example. :-)

hmm, say more. Am I guilty of this?

It's one thing to object to some specific implementation detail of some specific algorithm; it's another to take stock of the cumulative effect of automating so many of our interactions via opaque rules decided by robber barons. I think the latter is also valid?
