My Letterboxd 2024 stats. 171 diary entries, 164 reviews. Ranked list of first-time watches including After Life, 35 Shots of Rum, Modern Times, and others. Movies watched by month - 14.2 Movies watched by week - 3.3 First film of 2024 was Uncut Gems. 50th film of 2024 was Claire's Knee. 100th film of 2024 was symbiopsychotaxiplasm. 150th film of 2024 was Frankenstein (1931). Last film watched was Love, Actually. Page provides information about the films I watched in 2024. The first section displays my films by genre, country, and language. Most of the films were dramas and more than half were from outside the US and not in English. The second section breaks down my 2024 films by themes and nano-genres. I don't really care about this section. The third section shows I mostly watched films not released in 2024, that they were usually first-time watches, and that I usually wrote a review. It also shows that I added lots of films to my watchlist and that I watched 141 films from it. Finally, a breakdown of my 2024 movies by the rating I gave them. Lots of films between 3.5 and 5 stars, primarily because I sought out movies that are well regarded and that were the kinds of films I typically enjoy. World heat map of my 2024 movies by country of origin. US, France, and Japan are the most prominent. Lots of European films, quite a few African, and a smattering of the rest. Russia is gray (no films) even though I watched several.

Feeling good about my personal 2024 - my amazing gf felt supported enough to quit her awful job, I hit my goal of 150 films, “confirmed” my sexuality (hehe), spent some good quality time with my family, and Sarah and I saw TS in Amsterdam. I guess we’ll see how 2025 goes.
