I’ve done that before where I didn’t know if a thing was happening because of VSCode reasons or extension reasons. Turns out VSCode has an “extensions bisect” command to answer that question.

We switched to Vitest, even though we don’t use Vite, just to migrate off of Jest. It has been _years_ and Jest’s ESM support is still considered “experimental.”

If tariffs are taxes, there is an argument to be made that granting the President authority to impose or lift them arbitrarily is as unconstitutional as a line item veto; at least, it is a violation of equal protection.
