Hard to imagine what they hope to learn. Empowering/enabling the Libyan Coast Guard to perform illegal pullbacks, and criminalising the civil SAR fleet, don’t seem at all applicable to the channel.
Maybe it’s the Italians seeking legal advice on how to keep their own ministers out of jail.
