Also I want to apologise for cancelling any progress on the 2025 Media Thread. I'll admit now that after 2024's thread took so long to update, I should've stopped then and there but I didn't listen to myself.
I do want to make a "Best of 2025" thread when the year ends so look forward to that.

After a shit ton of peer pressure, I finally sat down to watch Fruits Basket....the OG, not the remake. I've been meaning to give this a look for a while but since I had everything thrown at me, I never got the time to do so. Some people don't understand that but that's a story for another time.

I got to rewatch one of the most intense films I've seen this decade with my friends in a call. My opinions haven't changed, I still love this film a lot, it was just nice getting to watch it with people who hadn't seen it before because my friends also absolutely loved it.

Oh hey would you look at that, I managed to get one of my contracts finished before the end of January, isn't that neat? I figured I would've gotten one of the movie contracts done first but nevermind, I guess we're starting off strong. Let's see if I can actually get all of these done before 2026.

This is one of, if not the longest segment I've written up for any of the threads. The only entries I think come anywhere as close is FF7Rebirth, Astro Bot and maybe The Green Mile. I don't know if my write up for Season 2 will be anywhere near as long as this, so we'll see how that goes.

Now I don't know if this is going to get my "movie reviewer" license revoked or something but in a world where I've already sat down to watch Red Dragon (more on that in my 2024 media thread), I find myself enjoying that more over Silence of the Lambs. It's a little complicated but let me explain.

Hopefully I don't need to dish out a whole essay for this next entry because who hasn't watched The Incredibles? I've seen it, you've seen it, your dog probably watched it, we've all watched what many would describe as one of, if not Pixar's greatest movie. It's tough competition, that's for sure.
