I have said for some time, to whomever might be listening/reading that the Epstein Files involve all kinds of people in politics, business, public figures, the famous for being famous, etc. regardless of political party If and when these things are released the fallout will be nuclear not targeted

Thank you for mentioning Little Nemo. I was actually thinking more of this series than the Rarebit Fiend series (minus the indigestion) when I made that comment. Little Nemo is really profoundly creative. The only contemporary comparison might be “Calvin and Hobbes”. Curious what you’d suggest…

I would also, from that time period, add Windsor McCay. His “Tales of the Rarebit Fiend” is very strange (when you consider the entire premise is based on indigestion) but also wonderful fantasy and fairy tale’ish. It really is a world unto itself.

Whenever you are ready please let me know. I am trying to amass a strong collection for my grandsons. I sold my Golden Age collection in 1995 to pay for a house. It brings nearly to tears to think about it still. I am hoping I can rebuild one to leave to them. Thank you.

Many of the comics from that period had, what I can only assume was, inadvertent or truly unintended racism. Take The Spirit, for instance. Arguably one of the most brilliant comics ever written and it had its fair share of racist tropes and characters.
