Just paid over 600 dollars in tariffs for a new bike, on top of 300 dollars for shipping. An effective tariff rate of over 21%. Cant stand all this winning 🥴

Saw a half dozen bike racks all along the block of Corbin Dr in Darien. Washington St in SoNo ought to have the same thing: convenient and well-designed bike parking down the whole length of the street.

The pieces of the Harbor Loop Trail have the makings of something really special for Norwalk, once it’s (finally) completed. Too bad even the northern end can’t escape the eternal noise of I95

This is what a quality public space sounds like - people, birds, music. So much more pleasant than listening to the roar of cars. (Vid is from Tompkins Square Park)

Spotted this quick-build bus platform and bike lane combo in D.C., very cool! More cities should be embracing quick-build solutions like this

Noticed today that @mtalirr.bsky.social trains tell you which car you’re in. Neat feature, definitely makes it easier to meet up with friends if you’re boarding at different stations

Politicians love to show off the snow plows this time of year, but where are they on the NRVT? Trail is covered in a thick sheet of ice and is totally unusable from the crossing under Route 7 all the way up to Broad St.
