Bob Weir is deserving of all the accolades that are pouring in for an extraordinary life well lived. Nobody did more to keep the Grateful Dead flame lit after the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Weir shouldered that burden with grit, tenacity and a sense of adventure.
