It takes preferences seriously with agents built in to do things like testing & docs and build scripts. Also runs off a local llm by default.

The next API on my @ziglang data toy is #kafka!
The kafka API is a masterpiece of moving complexity in the client and the protocol vs making an intelligent broker. The brokers are still plenty complex but the API is still carries the legacy of zookeeper coordination.

Recently I've built a streaming engine in @ziglang. Inspired by drones and chats with people @jorandirkgreef and borrowing @TigerBeetleDB's kqueue /io_uring implimentations, (working on IOCP 😅).
So far it clusters, can always resolve split brain and has global ordering. Still needs to be faster 😁

One of those things I never used to appreciate are the small village events like school PTA fun runs and the like.
But community matters, and we've had enough social erosion from the pandemic.
