I saw this last weekend, none of the midfield want the ball in tight spaces. They’re half showing for the ball, forcing the defenders to go back. When the CBs have the ball, there’s zero movement from anyone and nobody showing any bravery to get on the ball.

I hate everything about this Luton side, but nothing more than if Nelson wasn’t “one of our own”, he’d be playing non-league football. Absolutely a competition winner.

A lot of hate on Wells. If your tactic has been toss balls up to him and expect to hold it up, it’s going to go like this. Need full/wing backs getting to the by line and delivering into the box. Need a forward up there with him too, be interesting with al Hamadi is eventually fit, that might work

I think CM and KN would have been better CBs yesterday, but the options are so limited. The buck there stops with the recruitment team and Bloomfield. They had two windows to prepare for Alf leaving and it’s been clear RB is an issue too.

Yesterday was helpful for JW to see what he’s working with. The hope must be that Al-Hamadi can really lead the line. Really missed Morris yesterday. A fit HO would really help to get a hold of the midfield, but the problems are going to continue until there are 2 full backs here.

What a horrendous day. In the home end, by the Luton fans. Constant racist chanting from a small section. The game though was terrible. Conditions bad for both sides, but Stevenage had a plan and executed. We had no idea and no fight, aside from Mengi and Andersen. It was gutless and clueless.

For Marv to get an international call up, the cynic is me would say he’s fit and he’s possibly on a pay as you play contract and we don’t want to stump the cash up. Likely a big earner at the club.

It’s like ever since the second that Gary let that billy big bollocks sound bite leave his mouth, every decision the club has made has been completely against the grain of what makes our club a bit different to all the others. Can’t help thinking the changes in the background have led us here.

3rd kit… such an own goal. Firstly it’s possibly the worst shade of green, I’d hoped they’d gone darker. They could also have incorporated white into the design, either green leaves on white or green arms (where the home kit is orange) and the rest white. It’s just something to disconnect us further

Still some positives, we created a lot of chances. Saville starting to look like a solid addition and Keeley is a very promising keeper. Nordas also contributing to games, what a couple of goals could do to his confidence.
