The problem with this is that the Labour leadership doesn't 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 what it's MPs and councillors think. If they'd let the MPs out talking honestly, they'd have been talking about the 'moral mission' of ending the two-child benefit cap for years, not weeks.

"Labour wants to ban early retirement" would go down a treat, I'm sure.

I can also see the "Labour's war on stay-at-home mums" headlines.

If it was as good as the CEOs think, surely we'd be leaping to use it. I'm a lazy man - I'd be quite happy to be my own little manager of the robot that does all my work. But then you look at the quality of the output and realise that it's just shifting around the effort from doing to re-doing.
