With futures up this much, it’s in some ways an admission that the tariff policy was exactly as badly thought out as plenty of economists warned.

One of the upsetting parts about this whole US situation is that Trump and his team aren’t even being skilful manipulators.
They are not even good at pretending to follow up on what they promised, they were so lazy they skipped right to the gaslight and lie stage

This whole Signal situation is perhaps the most embarrassing public fuck-up I have ever seen politically, and the way these people are responding to it, attacking journalists and calling others liars, shows such incompetence it boggles the mind how anybody is ok with this?

Can we have a discussion at some point about why investors are still tolerating Elon? It seems obvious that he is not devoting serious times to his duties as Chief Executive of Tesla, and even his value from a marketing perspective has to at least become dampened because of his widespread hostility?
