Sensible to delay these rules. The standards are badly written and overly complex. Germany have also written in similar terms, so I think a 2 year delay in CSRD is baked in.

Not my subject, but the early days of printing seemed to empower people outside the mainstream (as today).

It isn't possible to regulate content on the Internet, due to its fundamental design, without building a Chinese-style "great firewall." So I agree that it likely isn't possible to regulate media-political activity in the modern age.
