.. and I run a foundation giving young people access to these opportunities through the Erasmus + programme and I truly wish that we can get it back for the UK, to give them a chance to explore, learn and grow. First though we need to understand what it is we have lost and how to spread that message

.. and not just 'oh its for university students' When I see the news about this topic all I see mentioned is 'students' and 'study abroad' and its this lack of knowledge that is one of the reasons its not taken more seriously. I was a youth worker in the UK for many years, now I live in Poland..

.. as most people think Erasmus/Erasmus + is only students and universities when its so much more a lot of focus is on people with fewer opportunities and intercultural learning. I think we need to make sure the conversation is correct so that more people can see the truth of what was lost..

Ive been involved in this world for almost 25 years (starting as a 15 year old in the old Youth In Action programme - Now Erasmus +) its so valuable for lots of young people but also adults who gain so much from these programmes. I think there is lack of knowledge behind the inaction....
