I actually burst out laughing at the Matt Gaetz AG appointment. So much worse and ridiculous than I thought. There is a certain bizarre comfort in how absurd this is. The shock has worn off and its teetering on bemusement. I also think there is a genuine shot the Republican senate doesn't approve..

Sad to hear of the passing of John Horgan. Moreso than I had imagined. He made one feel optimistic about politics and its possibilities. His work on Indigenous reconciliation moved the province further forward than any government in BC prior. A real legend.
