ZAZ had to consult legal to determine what was considered “parody” and what was direct plagiarism. It is amazing to see how much was derived from Zero Hour!

I watched it again in the last couple of years and I got chills watching the scene when Superman takes Lois out for an evening ‘stroll’. It was a beautiful moment before audiences leaned into cynicism.
