Heineman not sliding into third and Muncy struggling to stretch is like every moderately close play in slow pitch softball.

The backup catcher is on 2nd as a pinch runner, the 9 hitter was intentionally walked to face the third different 1 hitter. This game really is something.

Maryland must turn over contested Baltimore jail records, loses medical monitor fight
Maryland has spent nearly half a million dollars on a private law firm to try and exit a decades-old lawsuit. So far, it has little to show for it.

In the past year of reporting on overdoses in Baltimore, a treatment program kept coming up. We looked into it:

At least 13 deaths deaths since 2022.
This year a mom died, then her baby starved.
It operated in the shadows & got paid millions by the state.

They entered treatment. Drugs, overdoses and deaths followed.
Baltimore addiction programs draw patients with free housing while collecting millions. Some say one company offered little help.

Private-equity-owned Wellpath, which has several contracts with Maryland jails, recently filed for bankruptcy. We've seen this movie before. Corizon's controversial Texas Two-Step bankruptcy blocked some formerly incarcerated people from collecting payouts www.thebaltimorebanner.com/community/cr...
He won $770K after a jail doctor botched his wrist. A bankruptcy could block most of it.
Earlier this year, a correctional health care company declared bankruptcy. Now, a formerly incarcerated Marylander is missing out on compensation he won in a trial.
