The tRump admin painting Mr Garcia as a criminal to support violation of constitutional rights of due process. While sitting in the Oval is a convicted felon who has due process is a criminal and yet not deported.

Everyone has the right to protection under the law!
I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.

I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.

Called my congressman who voted for the SAVE act.

Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?

One day to go:

Vote FOR Susan Crawford for Supreme Court.

Vote “NO” on the Constitutional amendment. It’s unnecessary - Wisconsin already has a very strict voter ID.

I would ask if this is real but know the answer. If it seems absurd and a money grab/grift. If it seems unethical. If it seems worse than a tan suit controversy it must be the real Donnie trump administration.

Every day a new action that makes me think I am living in a dystopian novel.

Question about Trump and his policies.

Answer blah blah blah and blame Biden, Dems, Obama, maybe even FDR.

No accountability.
Just like not passing CR immediately blame Dems.

This playbook is getting old.

You broke it you fox it.
Q: “Will Trump’s policies be worth it if they lead to a recession?”

Trump’s Secretary of Commerce: “It is worth it.”

The so called pro life party celebrates playing chicken with children’s lives.

I am astounded by their beliefs. They seem to care about a child until it is born. Then lord of the flies applies.

Cut education funding
No school lunch
No school safety or gun reform. Just thoughts & prayers.
This is also called “culling the herd.”

What a week. Made me think about musks new policy to report the 5 things you did last week. I know he…(hope he isn’t offended by the use of pronouns)…had an unscheduled disassembly as one of his top accomplishments.

Thank you for speaking up. For voicing the concerns of all Americans. Shame on your colleagues for their hypocrisy. If republicans borbert and mtg can shout at Biden, name call and get kicked out of beatle Juice without consequence. Then they don’t stand for the first amendment

How is this not the trump effect? President Musk is firing thousands of people who no longer have an income to purchase goods. He is deporting people who no longer purchase.Tariffs are already causing gas prices and goods to increase.Tell me again this isn’t trumps economy or impacted by his policies
Great job, MAGA!
Kudlow: "Very smart people are telling me the Feb. jobs number coming out Friday could be flat, even negative. The GDP tracker from Atlanta Fed is showing for the Q1 a -2.5 or -2.8%. We've had lousy numbers on things like housing & biz investment ... we're gonna have to suffer through some bad news"

If this is real there is so much to unpack. The mis-characterization of what happens in education. And the push for patriotism to obey. I saw an article calling for snitching on teaches and schools if they talk about diversity. No DOE but more big brother and oversight. Scary times.
I cannot say enough how terrible this is for all public school students. These people are beyond evil and vile.
SCOOP: Now that Linda McMahon is confirmed/sworn in as secretary, Trump will be imminently issuing an executive order eliminating the Department of Education.

I’ve obtained a draft of an email that McMahon will be sending to staff re: the EO and the department’s “final mission”.

Here is a portion:

Elon has all the data. It is a big deal. We should be concerned, and congress should stop him. What security does he and his teenage helpers have?
Elon Musk has the Social Security data.
Mike Johnson on Elon Musk: "We meet late into the night in his office and we've looked at that. What he's finding with his algorithms crawling through the data of Social Security system is enormous amounts of fraud, waste, and abuse."

Same for those with better insurance or benefits. If one group can have better conditions it should be possible for others. It shouldn’t be divide and conquer tear others down because you don’t have something. We can improve conditions if we work together.

Because I don’t think AI can replace educators but can be an amazing tool to supplement instruction. The potential to personalize materials for students is a challenge for educators that AI can assist with to support students
We are at a time with great excitement about the possibilities similar to when Google rolled out and education was concerned abt the impact on instruction because we didn’t have a full understanding or expectations or guiding principals of how to use. Same with AI. Need to develop guidance.
Thoughts on this? "With VR and AI working together, we might see a future where learning is more interactive, personalized, and efficient... This might be the next big leap for education, just like the internet was back in the day."

Everything will be more expensive because few made in tags say USA. Even Trumps merch is imported. But hey the barometer of a good economy has now become eggs. So guess scrambled eggs for all.
Breaking news: President-elect Donald Trump said he will issue executive orders imposing tariffs of 25 percent on Mexican and Canadian goods and 10 percent on Chinese merchandise as one of his first acts on Inauguration Day.
Trump promises specific tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico
If enacted, they would violate the 2020 deal that the United States inked with Canada and Mexico during Donald Trump’s first term.

This is extremely concerning. A party that does the bidding of the leader without question has not historically lead to good outcomes. The idea of vetting is to ensure nominees are qualified. How do you vote yea sight unseen?
Sen. Eric Schmitt downplays Trump not vetting his cabinet nominees with traditional background checks, but also confirms that he plans to vote for Hegseth, Gabbard, and Bondi even before hearings have occurred
