Im literally german. As in born, raised, and currently living in Germany german. Can trace my ancestry back to the middle ages and they all lived in the same tiny area in central Germany that I was born and raised in german. We do this.

Aside from, you know, the whole ants under a magnifying glass thing, why would you even want sunlight at night? I like the night. Its dark and cool and calm. I get plenty daylight during the day. I dont need any more of that.

Even if you assume that normal people dont know that this specific skull logo is bad and you accept that in the last decade he somehow didnt see a single WW2 film and thought "wait, that looks familiar" so he genuinely didnt know, his reaction to it being pointed out was bad and disqualifying.

Hes apparently currently co-writing a script with Lynne Ramsay that shes said he is going to star in. Which I was surprised by because hes a bad actor but also because I honestly thought he was in prison, which it turns out hes not. So apparently hes not out of show business yet.

And, fwiw, wearing the Taylor Swift necklace is also a red flag, but for very different reasons. Not because it uses Nazi imagery, it doesnt. But, you see, imo it is quite ugly. Of course, taste being highly subjective, people are free to disagree with me there.

The iron cross also isnt a Nazi symbol. It goes back to the prussians and the teutonic kights before them. Its still the official emblem of the german military. Yes, seeing someone who isnt a german soldier wear it is generally a red flag, but thats because neonazis try to steal anything german.

This is actually good news for many. If dark chocolate is not healthier, then just buy and eat whatever chocolate you like most. Once healthiness is no longer a determining factor, personal preference can become the only one.

I think you may have misunderstood wikipedia there. Brutus minted a coin that, in order to spread an anti-Pompey message, had on it the head of his by then long dead ancestor, another Brutus, who was the first consul after the Kings were kicked out. Neither the later Brutus nor Pompey were on it.

The German country is about a century and a half old. The German nation, without the accompanying nation-state, started forming in the first century AD. There's a reason the HREs full name for several hundred years was the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.
