My fave example was that episode where Guinan detects they’re in the wrong timeline. Says “it just feels wrong” and Picard shouts “Not good enough, dammit!” Always stuck with me because it felt like a real reaction, struggling between friendship and common sense.

A friend of mine and I call this antipathy “a Limey.” Because she had that experience with the 1999 film back in the day. Kept renting and returning it. (I’m old). But it’s fun to say “Dunno why I’m not reading it, guess I got a limey on that book.”
