But also....I feel I am on somewhat of a fun similar path using React 3 Fiber (I could probably move to ThreeJS) and Inngest.

Inngest for realtime and durable functions for retrying AI and publishing AI responses to the UI and updating 3D models on screen

Subtle UI changes but getting there

Excited to share that I am starting a new job as a Content Engineer with @inngest.com!

Looking forward to helping developers build with clarity and reliability with Inngest

@amyhoy.bsky.social and @thomasfuchs.at found it at a yard sale. Figured I’d see if yal had thoughts on it. I know nothing

If you’ve ever wondered why people don’t easily leave react for another technology

Here is a beautiful explanation

Hard fought knowledge is not easily left behind

I still think about this way too often and it eats me alive

I’ve reached this point with cars

Cars used to stress me out. Now I just kinda laugh when something goes wrong.

One of my favorite games growing up on the gameboy color was Yugioh Dark Duel Stories

The awesome thing about this game is each physical Yugioh Card had a code that you could enter into the game and you would get the card in game

I want the same style game with the current catalog of games

Yal, I added a youtube embed for an article I wrote (I have really appreciated Ethan Hawke over the past 6 months or so).

But I feel someone who works for Youtube should take note and add @zachleat.com's snow fall web component. It makes videos delightful.

Been reading about the Theory of Constraints recently and feels very apt to this principle. Here is the article/series if you haven't read it - fortelabs.com/blog/theory-...

Interesting when things that perform so well stop doing so and then you have large implications to consider

This is a random list of “standards” I found that I’d like to work towards. Gotta get the diet stuff down though as well

In Svelte 5 I feel Snippets are often overlooked

Previously more than one comp per file was not possible

Snippets let you effectively have infinite components per file.

Can take arguments and render or pass as props to other comps

Ex: (I know some of it is ugly, we will be ok)

I need to do a presentation at some point on the convergence of software paradigms:

@nilslice.bsky.social's team making all software extensible and @geoffreylitt.com / the Ink and Switch teams work on Malleable Software could converge in very incredible ways

Offline Post Editor

@svelte.dev (sveltekit and svelte 5) - Original inspiration/reasoning for svelte was from a @tolin.ski local first svelte template

InstantDB for Local First Development

Auth is not local first (yet)

Queries and everything else are local first

I was trying to find the examples in the podcast so I need to listen to it again

But this is the general idea on my mind from their website

I really like the idea of syncing. But it may not be the solution for everything. You may want apps that don't need to handle it.

This is a very basic image but it would be nice to have a general purpose sync engine that you can pass a flag to db operations for syncing or not

Took some pictures of styles of old guides that would be fun to put some of this into that style.
