Because the decision is made moot outside of that scenario. Doesn't matter what the trailing team decided on the first touchdown if the other team scores or they don't score again since they're losing regardless at that point. The results could still be similar but you have the data and I'm curious.

What are the results if you only include scenarios where the trailing team scores two touchdowns and the leading team doesn't score again in regulation?
