I get so tickled by the elders talking about how they don’t have to cook for Thanksgiving because they are somebody’s guest. They be so ready to not be in the kitchen working and I love it for them.

Re last skeet, when I am with my aunt’s sister…I always try to be precise and let people know we aren’t related (because I’m a displaced and traumatized adult orphan) but people just be like…

“That’s your aunt”
