Does everything have to be a “business”? Can’t we just pay wages and run servers without growth and profit beyond those wages and costs of running? Everyone seems to need millions of personal greed tokens, or even billions for the truly gluttonous

It’s just fun and conceptual for me, I’m not a scientist, and so I welcome interesting takes that don’t necessarily offer new answers or experiments, but simply reframe things in a way that leads to new questions.

Good parents who are shitty thinkers, is a better framing imo. These people really are scared and confused. The scale and complexity of reality doesn’t work well with their approach to sense making, so they fall back on simple emotionally salient narratives. We need to understand them, to help them.

There are significant differences between a lot of the life here, and some very fundamental similarities. Cows are mammals, we are mammals. I think i know what a cow experience is like, it’s like mine, but with a simpler script, less spacial and temporal perspective, but fundamentally the same.
