Our bicycle trail crossing on the Mississippi River (way up north!) is a favorite nesting area for the yellow-rumps. They seem to like our large lake, river, and water, in general. Love watching the warblers during spring migration.😊

I have several, dating from childhood to young adult in college. A remembrance from January 1968: Watching “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” in the historic 1930s Chief Theater in Bemidji, MN. The Chief now features mostly summer stock.

My son taught me this one: scream “Padiddle!” If you’re the first to spot a car with just one headlight. Oh, yah, you get to punch their shoulder, too.😊

Thankfully, Emmer lost his bid for Governor of Minnesota several years ago as well as his more recent bid to be Speaker of the House. He is not my idea of a quality leader.

Love these photos of old theater marquees. I have quite a collection of my own. I taught B&W darkroom during my teaching career for many years, but it ultimately became too costly. A fond remembrance: Teaching 8th grade middle school boys B&W, all wearing Bart Simpson “Eat My Shorts” tees.🤣

Have an abundance of squirrels in my ‘hood. Would you kindly rent me a couple of these handsome mammals to thin them out? Thank you for your attention to my predicament!🥹

Been taking photos of small town theaters for decades. Sad so many are dilapidated & empty. My childhood hometown marquee-long gone. The Chief, Park, Cozy, Comet in my part of MN still showing movies or summer stock.😊

This! My daughter recently moved to Highland park. Love their bustling downtown. I grew up watching cinema at classic small town theaters: The Lake Theater, Detroit Lakes; The Cozy, Wadena; and The Comet, Perham (all in MN). I have my own marquee collection.

Our third grandson was born in a Minneapolis NICU. Never have I been so impressed with nursing staff and their constant, loving care. Your father, and those like him, is a treasure beyond compare. Our grandson is now six and dancing happily through life.

I’m 76 and my 6-year-old grandson & I used acrylic marker pens with ease and above average results.🥹 Buy at least three marker pens of white to “erase” mistakes. Enjoy‼️

Drove the Oregon coast, south to north a few years ago. One of the great drives in America! Love that Tillamook cheese!😊

Or breaking the yellow dye into oleomargarine and massaging the plastic bag to evenly mix the dye. Such a pleasant yellow glow (unless the bag ruptured)!😊

I have observed these interesting birds along the shores of Lake Bemidji in northern MN. This photograph is just superb, as are many in your bird pics. Thanks for sharing!😊
