The last two comics that i have read in January were JSA 3 and DC’s Lex And The City, enjoyed both.

I caught up with Batman on DCUI and have read up to issue 155. I really like Failsafe and Zur-En-Arrh, but for my personal taste, this whole thing went on for too long.
That said I still enjoyed reading it.

My LCS had this book by @manruss.bsky.social and @shannonwheeler.bsky.social laying next cash register, just had to buy it.

Currently catching up with Batman and have just read the issues 126 to 136, the fight against Failesafe was great and Bruce’s multiversal adventure following it too.
Batman using shark repellent spray against a jokerfied space shark is something i didn’t expect ever to see.

Started the week by finishing Dark Knights of Steel Allwinter (issues 3 to 6), enjoyed it quite a lot, the black and white with the sparing use of colour was really cool.
The back up story featuring the young Aquaman and the Kents was also pretty good.

Started the week by finishing Dark Knights of Steel Allwinter (issues 3 to 6), enjoyed it quite a lot, the black and white with the sparing use of colour was really cool.

Couldn’t sleep so i read The Sandman, don’t know what it is but i really like comics set in the first half of the 20th century, might be the absence of modern technology or it’s just because i watched a lot of black and white gangster movies as a teenager.

just came back home from a lunch and MTG Commander match with friends at a pub, definitely need to do this more often (according to my friends it’s not nice to turn 18 1/1 tokens into 6/6 tokens with trample, so i should probably change the deck a bit)

I planned to take a slower approach to comic reading this year, but today i have read every issue of the current Poison Ivy run that was available on DCUI, the twenty eight regular issue plus the two Knight Terrors tie ins, pretty good read, Jannet from HR is a great character.

After catching up with Birds of Prey it felt logical to start the new Batgirl run, it’s very good so far.
I have read the current Birds of Prey run up to issue 16, i’m absolutely in love with this comic, it’s its everything I love in comics, the right amount of silliness and darker more serious situations.
Hadn’t expected Barda to become my favourite character of the team, totally fascinated by her.
