Politico just reported that Trump has ordered all foreign aid to be halted. Exception: military aid for Israel and Egypt.

Either you'll report on the WH or you will write riveting stories in which you wish to hold those in power to account, A combination of both has become unlikely.

There is no comfort in this issue, no matter what side you stand on. But if you think that the alternative had prevented the killing, you are sorely mistaken. Things will get worse for the Palestinian cause under Trump--"Bibi" is now free to do whatever he pleases (and almost literal quote).

Or REALLY speak up, or better yet: do something. But of course, Princess Ivanka would never do such a thing.

I think a lot of people just focused on their one issue that they thought T would fix, either dismissing the entire rest as hyperbole or happily accepting it as long as their #1 issue would get addressed. (Are eggs $1/ dozen yet?) Totally agree on the history question--but hey, I am a native German.
