Russian gauge is wider than standard gauge, so all infra (tunnels, bridges, cuttings etc) can be kept. Hopefully they keep the Russian loading gauge so they can still big, wide loads.

Big news but then don't forget that to get to Finland with a train you need to go all the way north to Lapland. Ignoring Russia you can only go via Sweden:

Haven't seen any comment on image Elon Musk uses for his X account: it's literally an image of a black hole! Basically, an object from which nothing can escape and destroys everything in its path ... is he trying to say something??
