If yes, do not hesitate to participate in the contest! There will be a pre-selection in Brussels on 27 March 2025, and the best three candidates will then have to present their talk in May, where the jury will make the final decision on their ranking: there is a 500 EUR prize!

The most important aspect of the BPS is our annual meeting, which will take place this year on the 28th of May in Louvain-la-Neuve, organized by Xavier Urbain and colleagues. Abstract submission will open in early February.

As is always the case, you can write-in events, milestones, scientific publications, or job openings that you think the BPS can highlight and this new website will be how we do it, along with our continued social media presence.

This is not only to make administration and access easier for members, but hopefully also to open up our society to non-members and internationals, providing a central platform for history and current events in Belgian Physics and Physics in Belgium.
