the rush to judgement before gathering context to figure out that we're on the same side here. I'm saying why Netanyahu is likely to lose next year's election, and squaring that with the fact that Israelis broadly approve of the genocide and want it to go further.

yeah I've just been mildly annoyed by the whole Bubba thing because it's the most obvious red herring and misinterpretation of anything so far.

More that this will calcify development in Florida because new homes suddenly become a drain on a municipality and not a benefit, throw it on top of the problem that home insurance is rapidly becoming impossible unless it becomes fully socialized.

Netanyahu is unpopular but because the Israelis (rightly) blame him for the security lapse that allowed 10/7 to get as bad as it did, not for what he's done since.

This has been basically the Russian spirit since Shock Therapy made everyone's lives worse except a few oligarchs.
The only moment of optimism came from about 99-08 when Putin was consolidating power on the back of high oil prices, and that was only for people who kept their heads down.

A forgotten figure in all this is Paul Manafort who was a consultant for literal dictators like Joseph Kabila in Congo-Kinshasa. It does not need to be a coordinated conspiracy so much as people drawing from the pool of the same elite dirty deeds consultants.

The routing system I think is the most interesting thing about it, but they should have designed it for score-attack somehow, similar to like StarFox 64. There could be something there for min-maxing the oddest route through the plot.

I get fixated on the prop bets because now every single bad pitch or missed shot or odd play of any kind is suspect because there's money on the line for moment-to-moment play.

A lot of people who moved in his direction really thought on some level that 2024 was it, the last chance, the last election that was ever going to really matter. It's our duty to make that a bad bet.
