From the #NoKings march now that I have signal again

Train after train on the Pink and Green lines for the past hour have been packed with folks headed to the #NoKings protest in Grant Park

Now on a normally quiet residential street in BP where federal agents have fired chemical irritants at least three times in the past 15 min

Headed back to 35th/Cali where residents were protesting immigration agents after they detained someone at an auto garage. Not clear if Feds were simply ready to scat or the protesters chased them out, but they left the scene after being repeatedly confronted

Scene at 40th and Kedzie where armed federal agents have blocked the street after a reported shooting

Can’t tell you how much I relate to this energy

Thinking a lot about light pollution after spending a few days in Utah near some of the darkest spots in the country.

Baseline takeaways: We need more shades on exterior lights! And warmer light temperature!
