People believe what they want to believe in the world of politics but when the literal bill comes due (insurance) folks can’t help but face the undeniable fact that it happened on this administration’s watch, as a result of this administration’s policies. With control of all 3 branches of gov’t.

RE: referenced “illegals” (ugh)… this’ll continue as long as people are foolish enough to believe it. It’s already illegal for undocumented immigrants to get medicare/medicaid/social security benefits, for better or worse. Dems are resisting drastic cuts in subsidies for lawful residents. Full stop.

This was/is currently being attempted in Michigan as well.

And to think some of these institutions would willingly forfeit their academic independence and integrity as a matter of financial calculation.

All of this nonsense will reach a tipping point where people won’t tolerate it any longer. It’s hard to imagine but the day will come.

Hopefully that sentiment is shared by most in attendance at the event in question

Whoever wrote this headline describing the event in question is guilty of extreme professional malfeasance and I hope they see this comment. Shame on them and to every editor that approved it.
