The Westshore RCMP is not being defunded. The prefix de means "reverse" or "undo." Adding four more officers does not equal removing funding.

Langford residents shocked that, after 2 years of outbursts, heckling, jeering, intimidation of members of the public and constant reminders that disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated in city hall, the City has requested an RCMP presence at an upcoming Council Meeting.

Now this would have been the deal of the century. Imagine the incredible park this would make with beach front and forested paths area for so much recreation and more.
Perhaps a chartered helicopter could’ve been added to help everyone get to this much better dream oasis.
