Reading Kai Bird’s presidential history of the Carter Administration, The Outlier… I realize two main points:

1. Carter was WAY ahead of his time, got zero credit & suffered politically for it.

2. Ronald Reagan, that Republican god, was Trump 0.5.

If you are tired of the news and would really like to learn something, I highly recommend the audiobook, Separation of Church and Hate.
Read by the author it is a phenomenal exposé of the Christian Nationalist movement. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Bella was typical Lab—crazy until she was about 7. Those last 8 years were GOLDEN.
