In some lighter news, a new little friend has been added to the group, a cagemate for Pep so he wouldn't get lonely in his old age. His name is Fruit Dip and he was going to be a feeder rat! I couldn't leave him there. He hasn't met with Pep yet, but I hope to start aclimating them soon.

That morning, I found my other old man Gus had sadly passed during the night. He rests peacefully now with his brother, and I cannot thank everybody enough for helping with their commission donations, as it was able to cover both the cremation and Pep's meds.

Two weeks ago, Pep finally had his appointment with the vet. He does indeed have a tumor, and there's nothing that can be done about it besides giving him some antibiotics for the scabbing on his underside and put him in a cone so he doesn't tear it open before it heals. He despises the cone.

It's been a while, and I apologize for the delay, but I am here to provide an update on my lovely little ratties. Here is a forewarning that this post will contain mentions of animal sickness and animal death.

Getting to work on a set of projects I've been excited to make for an expo in a few weeks, using some bones I found and cleaned myself I'm making sculptures of buges and such.. very proud of how this one came out, my first! my favorite kind of slug, the leopard slug, on a deer vertebrae :]

My apolocheese that I haven't posted as much as I should, but I've been quite busy with things! This past Saturday I went to the Hall of Fame City convention and it was a blast! I got to show off my Baragon costume, and although I didn't place in the contest, I had fun anyways. Here's to next year!
