Speaking specifically of those who just churn out articles with ridiculous deadlines and not much understanding of the game.

Honestly, I'd much rather read an article made by someone who has put some serious time and effort into the games they're reviewing. Even if said articles took long to produce it would be a lot better than reading one from somebody who doesn't have understanding of the base mechanics or story.
