Had a lot of driving to do today, but I was able to pull off in a nice spot and set out some scent cans. Half of them had something in them and half of them did not the game was for Daisy to find only the ones that had the scent and then when she does that she sits to alert me that’s where it is!

Working on logo ideas this morning for my team members. K 9 handlers and support.

Horses don’t mind these cold mornings at all so far. I will put out a big round bale for them ahead of the storm coming next week. But for now they still have plenty of grass.

Cold and blustery morning. Today I took Misty and Bella out first for their walks. They certainly appreciate their little coats this time last year. Bella was in an accident and paralyzed almost completely until Christmas Day when she suddenly set up. It’s been a long rehab,

Beautiful fall day on the ranch. Tried to get some cute pictures of Bella, but she was a little bit shy today.

I’m working with Daisy for the next two weeks, teaching her how to pull me on cross country skis. I’m experimenting with different harnesses to see which one works the best so that she can have free movement without irritating her chest and shoulders.
