Obviously any solution to this issue would require a personalized approach(i.e. there would have to be different groups blocking individuals for different reasons). I just think journalists shouldn’t have to subject themselves to constant hate/trolls/etc thrown in their face just bc of their job

In addendum to this I’d like to add that if you all as journalists subscribe to the same blocklist then when folks on the blocklist become relevant you can unblock, follow the story, and reblock when necessary.

You and some other journalists on here should attempt a “journalist blocklist” moderation list so that yall can still protect your careers while also keeping trolls and general unwelcome folks out of your line of sight.
