moving from capcut to davinchi resolve for my YouTube videos initially because of the ban, but now because the whole TikTok situation rn left a bad taste in my mouth and resolve doesn't actually seem that hard for me to learn for the type of videos I make. hoping it works out.

was talking to a friend yday about how I'm can't function in world where every headline sends me into a panic -- that's the goal, they want us terrorized and stalled out. I am muting terms liberally and picking the lane where I'll do the work.
You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.
Remember their goal is to terrorize us. And social media is a fantastic way to spread terror. We don’t have to help them.

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.
