The show kinda half gestures at this with Sherman being mad about his speech but never really follows through. Would have been a more interesting show if they had leaned into that more I think (But still really liked it).

Your def correct, they have some policy to always show winner crossing the line (which, fair I guess), and then radio messages/team celebrating.

Idk if I’ve seen a race ending this season where I didn’t get a bit mad at them not showing the actual interesting thing happening. You can wait 30 seconds and show the winner radio calls then!

It kinda comes down to can you see the sixers/knicks/okc beating them in a series and assuming health I just struggle to see that. But also it’s hard for things to go as well as they did last year again.

I think the survey format was you can only write down one team, so it was more that 83% of gms think they are most likely to win, not that they will per say

The counterpoint here is that they were the best team last year by a wide margin and there isn’t another team with a track record of success that is near that level.

It’s such an incredible movie because it gets that sports are a great backdrop for storytelling instead of just telling a story about sports.
