It’s so frustrating how SNAP is being suspended in Minnesota. Almost a year ago, I shared my concerns with the farm bill expiring and how this could affect programs like SNAP, and now, my fear has become reality.

One of my favorite things about my neighborhood is the wildlife! This week I’ve seen so many deer and we also have a fox den close by with a family of 5. I hear owls hoot at night.

I love my next door neighbor because I texted her about this cute squirrel we have on our deck and she replied that she had been trying to explain to her husband that there is a squirrel around who is special and different since he didn’t see her!

Despite having had surgery 4 days ago, I feel really good! My husband and I went to a local garden center and I got to plant some herbs and veggies in our raised garden beds. I’m so grateful surgery went well and I’m healing well! And I’m grateful my husband carried everything for me!

Not as pretty as your pic, but I think these are False Earth Stars (please correct me if I’m wrong) and I get these in my yard!

I’m at the point of adulthood and possible insanity that I’m just bedazzling any object. Today it was a pocket mirror and I’m starting a prescription pill bottle cap.

My dog has a nasty ear infection and he was looking so sad and acting so unusually quiet while recovering. After almost a week, he’s beginning to act normal! He took a nap with me today (earlier this week he slept in the guest room alone, which isn’t like him).
