After the typhoon passed , it was boiling hot. I sweated a lot.
The weather is really strange this year.
But, the day are getting a little shorter.

Persimon flowers

The cherry blossoms in the park had just started to bloom two days ago, with only about 5% of the flowers open. Today, as I passed through the park, I was amazed by their beautiful transformation. The trees were now 70-80% in bloom, bursting with magnificent flowers.

Yesterday, only some cherry blossom buds were pink. This morning, nearly all have turned pink and swollen. They might burst into bloom later today.

Today, I spent three hours watching "The Murder in the Crooked House." It had been considered a work impossible to visualize, but it was fascinating. Particularly, the scene where the culprit reveals their true identity left me astonished, making me think, "So, that's how they filmed it."

The next day, Saturday, I went back to the park to see the cherry trees again. Some of the buds had started to turn pink at the tips. It looks like the weather will hold until Tuesday, so I hope they bloom by then.

This morning, on Friday, I took a walk and went through the park. The weather was nice and there were plenty of cherry blossom buds out. But they were still green. Once they turn pink and swell, they'll bloom the next day. I wonder if they'll bloom while it's sunny this weekend.

Because I stayed up all night for two consecutive days, my head became tired, and I found myself spacing out. As a result, I now have to work overtime again. I should go to bed early today.

It's not as cold as yesterday. Yesterday was cold enough to snow, which is rare around here. But today is much more bearable.
