We women have fought long and hard enough, that this is enough, especially from the folks declaring that marriage is the only acceptable thing for a woman to do. I respect my husband and took his name. But I don’t respect what happened today.

Surely a “Real ID” proves, especially since it’s tied to my voter registration, that I am who I say I am and apparently can vote since I was encouraged to do so when applying for my license. So, in order to vote, women will have to show ID that matches the name on their birth certificate - wrong.

In order to get my “Real ID” I had to provide proof of citizenship, I had to provide documentation to support my name changes, i.e. marriage licenses supporting the changes and other items that proved I was one and the same citizen on that US Birth Certificate that I’ve guarded the last 64 years.

New here. Just deleted everything from X, or Twitter, or whatever the hell the propaganda machine was called today. Was liberating and looking forward to sharing life with you fine folks on Bluesky.
